Daily Read
This is an excellent book on landscape design by two of Atlanta's landscape architects, Hugh and Mary Palmer Dargan. In this book they share their "four part master plan," a unique method to creating an unforgettable landscape. I hear the authors may be working on book number two as well.

Daily Eats
There are so many perks to growing your own veggies, herbs, fruit... anything! It is healthy, fun to watch grow, and anyone can do it. Whether you are in an apartment or have acres of land, you can have potted plants or extensive gardens. My suggestion is to start small, know how much sun your plants will get, and get going! The picture above is of my potted jalapeno plant with some basil. The other pictures, I came across on the web and just love.

Day One
The point of this blog is inspiration, so I thought it only fitting to begin my blog with someone whom I find inspiring. Bunny Guinness, a multi award winning landscape and garden designer in the UK, specializes in gardens for the entire family to enjoy. She has written several inspiring books including Creating a Family Garden. Although it is now somewhat hard to find, I highly recommend adding it to your design library. The adorable photo above is from a children's garden that she designed.
