Treasure Hunt

Scotts Antique Market, a huge antique show consisting of two warehouses filled with anything imaginable, comes to Atlanta once a month.  It was here this past weekend, but I was out of town and didnt get to go.  I love Scott's and always find such great stuff for the inside and out when i go.  This is a picture of my packed car from last month after a Scott's trip...

Ok, that is not really my car.  I wish!  Anyway, I am on the hunt for an outdoor work station for my house.  I want something rustic that can handle the weather.  I want it to have shelves for pots, and a sink would just be lovely!  This is close to what I am imagining...

Sorry for the blurry picture.  I took that one with my camera phone at the Flower Show last year.  I know that Scott's would be just the place to find this outdoor work station, but I guess I will just have to wait until next month!  I did find some great treasures while in Birmingham for the weekend, but I haven't downloaded my pictures yet.  Stay tuned...

  1. I think you and I share a similar passion for antiques and treasure hunting! I LOVE that first photo. It looks like heaven on earth, doesn't it? I'm with you, too, about finding a rustic potting/work table. Sometimes I find stuff like that at junk shops or salvage places. My mother's an antiques dealer, so I'm always bugging her for stuff, too!

Thank you so much for your lovely comment on my blog. xo Gigi

  2. I LOVE the little Mini cooper (it is a mini, right?). The stainless outdoor sink is amazing. I have been dying to go to Scott's. let's us know what you find.

  3. Chrissie, I know the perfect outdoor work space piece of furniture for you! I found it at an antique store in Cashiers last year, its amazing. I'll see if I can find a picture for you. Love the blogs, keep em coming! Anne
